About Miss Daisy
Katie Daisy is a wandering artist whose home is a prairie breeze. Originally from a small farm in Illinois, Katie is greatly inspired by rural life and the natural world. She draws inspiration from simple pleasures such as a goldfinch song, a cup of chamomile tea, creek swimming, & late night porch swings with her sweetie Luke.
Katie believes her purpose in life is to share a message of joy, love, and light through art-making while inspiring others to discover their passion.
After a rigorous (and fun!) bout of schooling at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, Katie now follows her bliss as a full time illustrator. At only 24 years, Katie has worked for numerous clients such as Target, HGTV, American Greetings, Madison Park Greetings, Hay House Publishing, Walkers & Chronicle Books. Katie's work has also been recognized by the Society of Illustrators, HOW Magazine, CMYK Magazine, Pregnancy & Newborn, and Stampington's Artful Blogging Magazine. Katie currently has a line of stationery with teNeues Publishing Group.
Apart from freelance work, Katie sells art on the road at festivals, art shows, and online in her Etsy shop!
At the moment, Katie lives in the magical, moss-filled Pacific Northwest with her sweetheart Luke and cuddly cat Basil.
